Returning home after incarceration often means rebuilding many parts of life at the same time, and figuring out where to go for help can be overwhelming.

The organizations listed below are a good place to start when you are not sure which benefits you qualify for or how to apply.

Rather than trying to contact every agency yourself, consider reaching out to a reentry navigator, case manager, or community organization and explaining what you need help with. They may be able to identify the right programs, explain eligibility requirements, help you gather documents, assist with applications, or connect you directly with another organization that can help. If one organization cannot provide the service you need, ask them who they recommend you contact next.
